Duddle 30!

Yesterday's duddle was a big disappointment, or at least that's how it felt when looking at it afterwards. Since I seem to be having difficulties doing even the most basic things right lately I thought I'd go back to square one and do something simple.

So... I figured I'd play around with an outfit. Since I spent so long yesterday struggling with an outfit that I didn't like (because I gave it to the poor girl ages ago and never updated it), I thought I'd use that one as the basis for a bit of a redesign.

So... yeah, here it is. I decided to try to cut back on the silly ribbons and flappy bits that would get in the way, although I let myself add a bit of a pointless loincloth/tails anyway. Lots of extra gear (fond memories of Last Ninja spring to mind), nothing agonizingly bright or green, and I even gave the lucky lass a haircut.

Not perfect, but I'm a lot happier with it this time around :D

At least she's wearing dark colors. This new trend of 'ninja' wearing bright colors is silly.

I agree, though I'm not sure if it's really a new trend - both Shadow Dancer and Revenge of Shinobi are nigh-on 20 years old, and both feature Joe Musashi (or his son, depending on which "plot" you follow) running around in bright white get-up with red trim. Looks kinda cool, but shadowy it ain't XD

Wow! Ninja Bunny again! I remember those days when Ninja Bunny first appeared... I think I first saw those sketches from the #megatokyo IRC channel... Good times!
