I actually changed a fair few things since that version... I'm hoping they were changes for the better, but who knows. There are things that still bug me, but I've been staring at the picture for far too long so it's hard to know whether they're really serious problems or whether it's just all in my head X3 Figured I'd go for some of that good old cel-style shading, since it's been a while and I've been more prolific with softer stuff lately. I always used to do pictures like this... should do it more often, really. Anyone who knows me will probably know that I am a total Oceansize fanboy (ever since I saw them supporting the Cooper Temple Clause in Nottingham yeeeears ago, which was a cool gig if ever there was one), and the idea for this picture came as I was listening to one of their tracks. I was fishing around for ideas for things to draw, and as soon as I remembered that the name of the EP I was listening to was "Music For Nurses", I realised that a nurse with a guitar could probably be a pretty cool picture. Hopefully this will go down quite well, I ended up spending longer on it than I meant to... although that's partly because I was working on a commission and got stuck, couldn't continue and figured I might as well do this in the mean-time  |

This picture actually wound up being a bit bigger than A4 because I added some extra stuff to it (she has legs now!) after I did the initial sketch.
It depends on what I want to do with the art though. Sometimes I work in lower resolution if I just want to get something done quicker and more painlessly, and I'll use different sizes if I intend to make the pic into a poster or for some other specific purpose.
