Looks like my last journal was right - 2 years later, just in time for the World Cup :) Last time I wrote an update, things in life were a bit awkward but all of the pieces were falling into place. This time, it's kinda the opposite... just when I thought everything was moving along nicely, something comes along and smashes it to pieces. I'm starting to understand that it was all necessary, and I hope that some good can come out of it... that said, it's all hugely sad, and while I'm trying to stay positive and hang in there, it's just massively painful and sometimes I wonder quite how on earth things are ever going to work out. So yeah... j

I figured I'd update this thing before it ends up being two whole years out of date. I guess I really should get around to sorting out my website too. We'll see if that ends up happening. So... it turns out that I don't seem to be drawing much these days. On the plus side, I seem to be spending a bit more time hacking around with code instead. I just wrote an AI player for a little turn-based tactics game that I've been chipping away at for the past few months, and that's now starting to get to the stage where I need to make it a) more fun and b) better looking. At least the latter of those points might coerce me into making some prettiness
